Summer Camp 2026
This summer, students will explore the worlds of classic children’s literature while investigating the ideas, discoveries, and challenges behind each story. Each week highlights a different genre, inviting students to examine themes of exploration, innovation, and human creativity.
Through hands-on STEAM challenges, design projects, science experiments, and collaborative problem-solving, students will connect literature with real-world concepts. They will analyze stories, test ideas, and design their own solutions inspired by the themes they encounter.
These experiences encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration while helping students see how stories connect to science, history, culture, and the world around them.

Summer Camp 2026
Week 1: Jun 29 – 30, July 2 – 3
The Long Road West
Students step into the legendary tale and travel across ancient lands in search of wisdom. Throughout the week, campers will explore Chinese culture through storytelling, traditional art, and hands-on crafts inspired by the characters and adventures in the story. Students will create their own masks and props, learn about the history behind this classic tale, and take part in creative problem-solving challenges that mirror the obstacles faced on the journey. A field trip and simple technology activities will help students connect the ancient story to the modern world while encouraging imagination and teamwork.
Week 2: July 6 – 10
Your Story, Your Depths
In this interactive week, students become the authors of their own stories. Through guided storytelling activities, campers will design characters, settings, and plot twists that shape their own adventure. Arts and crafts projects will bring their stories to life through maps, journals, and handmade storybooks. A field trip will further inspire students as they observe real environments and turn them into settings for their own creative tales.
Week 3: July 13 – 17
Programmed to Adapt
Inspired by the popular story of a robot learning to survive in the wilderness, this week blends nature, technology, and creativity. Students will explore themes of friendship, adaptation, and the relationship between technology and the natural world. Campers will build STEAM inspired crafts, participate in outdoor exploration, and learn about how animals and ecosystems work together. Technology activities will introduce basic concepts, while arts and crafts projects will allow students to imagine their own technological designs for the environments they live in.
Week 4: July 20 – 24
The Voice of Nature
This week introduces students to the idea that one person’s curiosity and passion can make a big impact on the world. Students will explore the wonders of nature and learn how storytelling can help people better understand and protect our planet. Through engaging lessons and discussions, campers will discover different animals, ecosystems, and the importance of caring for the natural world.
Week 5: July 27 – 31
Edible Dreams
Step into the imaginative world, where creativity and invention take center stage. Throughout the week, students will explore the magic behind sweets while becoming young inventors themselves. Inspired by the story, campers will design their own imaginative treats through a candy invention lab, where they create unique flavor ideas, shapes, and names for their own candy creations.
