Admission Process at AIP
1. Visit Us: Experience AIP Firsthand
We invite you to explore our vibrant learning environment through a personalized campus tour. During your visit, you’ll observe Montessori classrooms in action, meet our dedicated guides, and gain insight into how AIP nurtures independent, bilingual learners. Tours include a 1:1 conversation with our Head of School to discuss your child’s needs and answer questions about our pedagogy.
To schedule your visit, complete our online inquiry form or book a private campus tour with us now.
2. Apply Online: Begin Your Journey
After your tour, submit our online application form along with supporting documents, including previous school records (if applicable) and any relevant learning profiles. This helps us understand your child’s educational background and prepare for their assessment. Applications are accepted year-round, but early submission is encouraged due to limited spaces.
Required Documents:
• Completed application form
• Academic records (for students transferring from another school)
• Any special learning needs disclosures (to ensure tailored support)
3. Assessments: Understanding Your Child’s Needs
Every child participates in a relaxed, observation-based assessment to ensure AIP is the right fit.
What to Expect:
• Classroom Visit: Your child spends time in an age-appropriate AIP classroom, engaging with Montessori materials while our guides observe their independence, focus, and social interactions.
• Skill Check: A low-pressure academic baseline assessment (e.g., literacy, numeracy) helps us personalize their learning plan—this is not a pass/fail test.
• For Kindergarten Transitions: Current Guidepost Montessori students may have an additional observation at their existing school (with parent consent).
4. Placement Offers & Enrollment
Accepted students receive a formal offer with:
• Class Placement: Based on developmental readiness (Lower Primary: 6–9 years; Upper Primary: 9–12 years). Montessori progression allows flexible advancement across subjects.
• Individualized Learning Plan: Tailored to your child’s skills, with mastery tracking shared biannually.
• Mandatory Parent-Guide Meeting: Before the start date, families meet with guides to align on goals and routines.
To secure placement, complete the enrollment form in advance.
